Plot: It is a year of warcraft. Tense clouds hang over Shinari Isle, and everyone is sharpening their skills and polishing their Attributes for battle. These gods of equines reside throughout the deserts and abandoned haunts of the long-lost humans. Once they were here, but whatever chased them off is gone now. The horses, with their wings and hoofs populate the Isle. Confined by a thick ridge of mountains, they hide away from the modern world. While human cars and computers are developed, these studs and dams of the past produce wings and horns, and they become more powerful with every new genetic stroke of genius. The horses have begun to use these tools, so gifted of them they are. Flying away, a few of them have been sighted by the human race and imprinted their images into the curious mythology of the two-feet beyond Shinari. The Pertinents are angered. They fear the people will invade the Isle and bring away all traditions as they take over. But the Rebels are free. They shall not be controlled by such rules. Away they fly whenever they wish.
But a few have been shot now. Their independence has cost them their lives. And now the Pertinents have right to make their rules. A few Rebels got scared into joining the marching ranks of the Perts, and due to law this may now ensue a war. Both sides are preparing, and both are begging more Attributes from the gods: casting fire, invisibility, anything they can think of. And the gods have replied to this courageous battle of beliefs. Each horse can access any of these spells he wishes, so long as he only uses three at a time, at most. The want of more power would result in an exile to the underworld and back, so the powerlusty would become the powerless at the hands of the death-demons.
So we shall prepare for war. To practice each day shall earn points of power, marks to count your skill. The more you can list, the more likely you will win. But if you miss a practice...well, you will of course get out of practice. In fights to the death, this will condemn you or save you. It is not luck that builds a warrior, but sheer power.
